About Arts

NCERT Arts books introduce visual expression, craft traditions, and famous Indian artworks to young learners through looking, talking, and making. The subject works best as guided play: discuss what each picture shows, try the suggested activities with simple materials, and let children describe their own creations. There are no wrong answers here — only observation and imagination.
