About Class X
Class 10 ends with the first board examinations, and NCERT is the alpha and omega of preparation: board questions in Science and Mathematics are overwhelmingly drawn from NCERT text, examples, and exercises. Science covers chemical reactions, electricity, life processes, and heredity; Mathematics covers real numbers, quadratic equations, trigonometry, and statistics; Social Science spans nationalism, resources, power-sharing, and development. A complete, honest pass through every NCERT chapter — examples included — followed by sample papers is the entire strategy.
Study tips
- Solve all NCERT examples, not just exercises — boards quote examples directly.
- Practise writing answers within word limits; presentation earns marks.
- Attempt one full sample paper every week in the final two months.
